Principal's Message Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 7 from 4:00 - 7:30 in the auditorium. If possible, we are asking that those of you with last names beginning with N - Z attend on Wednesday evening and those with last names beginning with A - M attend on Thursday evening. When you arrive there will be a sign up sheet at the end of each teacher's table. We ask that you sign up in the order that you arrive. We hope this will ensure that you see your child's teacher in a timely manner and that the conferences will proceed more smoothly. Also, we ask that you attend without your child so that teachers and parents can talk openly about their progress. Kindergarten Registration will be held on Tuesday, February 26, from 9:30 - 10:30 in the auditorium for all students who will be attending kindergarten at Mount Mahogany next year. Students must live within Mount Mahogany School boundaries. A child must be five on or before September 1, 2008, in order to attend kindergarten in the fall. This is a state law and no exceptions can be made. A birth certificate and record of immunization are required to complete the registration procedure. Children do not need to come with you to register . We would appreciate it if you would share this information with neighbors whose oldest child would qualify for kindergarten next year. If you are unable to attend that day please contact the school. Also, thank you for your assistance in making a vast improvement in the kindergarten loading and unloading area. The patience that you have shown for each other has greatly helped. I also feel that the pedestrian caution sign that was placed in the south crosswalk on 1300 West has also helped with the safety of our students. Mr. Westover
