Internet Safety

NetSmartz
Internet safety for our children is a great concern for us. The state of Utah has adopted a program created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in conjunction with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to help teach children how to be safe on the internet and provide information for parents.

NetSmartz characters

Take an Internet Safety Quiz together and talk about how you will be safe.

Get Adobe Reader You must have Adobe Reader to see the district form and regulations.

Internet Permission Form
The Alpine School District requires a signed permission form for each student before they are allowed to use the internet in a supervised setting. The form must be signed by both the student and a parent or guardian.

Internet Acceptable Use Policy
See the Alpine School District's guidelines for student use of the internet in the schools.

UEN and NetSmartz
NetSmartz has created some activities just for use by students in Utah. You can download them at your house or you can come into my lab and borrow a CD to load at home.
